A delicious BBQ Bacon Ranch BLT sandwich that combines crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, and a tangy ranch-barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 4 slices of whole wheat bread
  • 1 cup of romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup of ranch dressing
  • 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast the whole wheat bread slices until golden brown.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the ranch dressing and barbecue sauce together until well combined.
  4. Spread a generous layer of the ranch-barbecue mixture on one side of each slice of toasted bread.
  5. On two slices of bread, layer the chopped romaine lettuce, tomato slices, and crispy bacon.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Top with the remaining slices of bread, ranch-barbecue side down.
  8. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the ranch dressing.
  • You can also substitute turkey bacon for a lighter version.
