Ingredients
Scale
1 pound ground beef
1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup BBQ sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or shells)
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the chopped bacon, BBQ sauce, cooked pasta, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix well until everything is combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add diced jalapeños or a splash of hot sauce to the meat mixture.
To make it a complete meal, consider adding frozen mixed vegetables to the pasta before baking.
