- 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup banana pudding mix (instant)
- 1 cup sliced bananas (fresh)
- 1 cup whipped topping (thawed)
- 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and banana pudding mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
- Gently fold in the sliced bananas and whipped topping until just combined.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the crushed vanilla wafers on top and lightly press them into the mixture.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a chocolate twist, add 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips to the mixture before pressing it into the pan.
- For a more intense banana flavor, use banana-flavored marshmallows or add a few drops of banana extract to the melted marshmallow mixture.
