Ingredients
Scale
2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread the mayo and cheese mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of hot sauce to the mayo mixture.
Try using different types of cheese, such as mozzarella or feta, for a unique flavor twist.
