Delicious Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones with a Colossal Cheese Volcano, perfect for a fun meal or party snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large waffle cones
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for the cheese volcano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cook the tater tots according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add the diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft.
  5. Stir in the crumbled bacon, diced pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well and remove from heat.
  6. In a large bowl, combine the cooked tater tots and the beef mixture. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Carefully fill each waffle cone with the tater tot and beef mixture, packing it tightly.
  8. Place the filled cones upright on a baking sheet. Top each cone with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños to the beef mixture or sprinkle some hot sauce on top before serving.
  • Substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option, and use turkey bacon for a healthier twist.
