- 2 cups frozen tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large waffle cones
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for the cheese volcano)
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Cook the tater tots according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is soft.
- Stir in the crumbled bacon, diced pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Mix well and remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked tater tots and the beef mixture. Gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Carefully fill each waffle cone with the tater tot and beef mixture, packing it tightly.
- Place the filled cones upright on a baking sheet. Top each cone with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
